Arvilla Ruth Burmeister

Arvilla Ruth Burmeister, 92, passed away Wednesday November 24, 2021, at Caledonia Care and Rehabilitation Center in Caledonia, MN.

Born on January 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ardys and Elsie Van Minsel. She married Harry Burmeister and to this union they were blessed with three children, June, Robert and Jerome.
Arvilla was employed at Winona Industries for over 15 years. She was very hardworking and dependable. She enjoyed sewing, doing word searches, and reading. Above all else, Arvilla loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, June (Jim) Newman, and Robert (Cindy) Burmeister; Grandchildren, Leo James (Theresa) Newman and their daughter Tori Newman, Jessica (Kevin) Hoover and their children, Helen Hoover and Jimmy Hoover and Mary Jo and her children; two brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Van Minsel and Howard Van Minsel; and one step-sister, Charlene Hansen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerome and three brothers, Leo, Clarwin and Earl Van Minsel.
A private graveside service was held at Buffalo City Cemetery. For those wishing to celebrate her life, hold her in your memories or honor her at the church of your choice.
