Anthony J. "Tony" Wisemiller

Anthony J. "Tony" Wisemiller of Chippewa Falls, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 16, 2015. Tony was born on March 26, 1964, in Eau Claire, the son of John and Audrey (Champion) Wisemiller. Tony was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed time with his family; especially sitting around the bonfire with his cousins "chewing the fat". He was an active member of Truax Congregational United Church of Christ. Tony volunteered many hours of his time to the care and maintenance of the property. He loved the Truax Prairie and volunteered at the Chippewa Valley County Fair. Tony enjoyed farming with his brother-in-law, Dale and close friend, Rodney Cooke. Tony was self-employed and a "Jack of all Trades"...he could fix just about anything. Tony will be greatly missed for his generous heart and kind spirit. He is survived by his father, John; sisters, Cindy and Susan (Dale) Deetz; nieces and nephews, Ashley, Logan, Garrett and Mason; many other close cousins; other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey and niece, Brittany. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2 pm at Truax Congregational United Church of Christ, 1008 50th St., Eau Claire with Rev. David J. Stratton officiating. A memorial gathering will begin at 1 pm until the time of service. There will be an additional celebration of Tony's life on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 11 am until 3 pm at Dale and Sue Deetz's home. Tony will be laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery, Eau Claire at a later date.
