Anna T. Sande

Anna T. Sande, age 93, formerly of the Town of Nelson, Buffalo County, died peacefully on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Glenhaven Nursing Home in Glenwood City, Wis.

She was born on October 11, 1929 in Kelliher, MN, the daughter of Thor and Olena (Amdahl) Sande.

Anna attended the Norwegian Valley School. 

Anna was a longtime member of Lyster Lutheran Church and faithfully served the church in different areas, like the ladies aid.

Even with Anna’s health issues throughout her lifetime, she still would find activities that filled her with joy, such as photography, taking hikes and walks, birdwatching, sewing or embroidery and spending time with her cats.

Anna is survived by her nieces and nephews.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Ole (Lorene) and George; sisters, Severine Sande-Sahnow and Gertrude (Merle) Quarberg.   

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Lyster Lutheran Church with a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at the Parish Cemetery.
