Anna Rohlik, age 108 of Mondovi, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire.
Anna was born on April 3, 1908 to John and Dora Roeser. She was raised on a farm between Shell Lake and Sarona, WI. After graduating from Shell Lake High School, she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. She later obtained a teaching degree at Barron County College. Anna taught several years in the Rice Lake area. She married Joe Rohlik in Shell Lake.
Anna was an avid gardener who enjoyed raising a full array of vegetables as well as flowers and berries. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her son, William (Marge) Rohlik; daughter, Catherine "Kit" Gunnarson (Lyle Halverson); grandsons, Tony Rohlik of Mesa, Arizona and Tim (Shelley) Rohlik of Dallas, Texas; granddaughters, Theresa (Seth) McCrae of New Richmond and Kristie Nelson of Eau Claire; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Carmen Leisman of St. James, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dora Roeser; husband, Joe Rohlik; brother, Tony Roeser; sisters, Lillian Miller, Dorothy Lombard and Lucille Barr.
