Alan Paul Zepp

Alan Paul Zepp, 74, of Oceanside, Ca, passed away peacefully on November 18th, 2022 in Vista, Ca, due to complications from cancer.

Alan was born January 30, 1948 to Charles and Marianne Zepp of Alma, WI. Alan attended Campion High School in Prairie du Chien, WI. He later graduated from Georgetown University and enjoyed a long, successful, and fulfilling career working on government public policy in Wisconsin, Washington DC, and ultimately Sacramento, Ca. Alan worked for Bob Kastenmeier (D-WI), Al Baldus (D-WI), and Jim Moody (D-WI). 

Alan loved gathering with friends to tell stories and play cards over a gin martini or a beer. He was an avid tennis player for a number of years as well.  Alan later retired to Oceanside, Ca where he loved to gather with friends for a meal, hangout at the beach in Oceanside, and watch football and basketball. He also wrote for the Alma Quarterly for a number of years. 

There will be a memorial service at the Talbot Family Funeral Home in Alma at 340 N. State Road 35, Alma, WI 54610 at 11am on Saturday January 7th. Feel free to also share any stories about Al on his Facebook page here, or join us after the service for food and drinks.
